ZRC Review – The Walking Dead Season 7, Episode 12
This week on The Walking Dead…
(Tragically, things will not end well for this Differently Animated Lady)
This week is a Rick and Michonne episode (Richonne, if you’re a fan of portmanteaus), as the duo search for guns to bribe the Scavengers (Jadis’ group) into fighting their war against the saviors (because Rick’s track record against Negan redefines ‘losing streak’)
They find a school, which was apparently hosting a carnival that was turned into some sort of impromptu survivor camp/military outpost during the Global Reanimation Block Party.
Naturally their first, and really, only, thought is to loot the area and massacre the now Undead inhabitants. Which is both predictable and quite rude.
First though, a romantic, candlelit, stolen dinner.
Sure, there is a fairly contrived Scare where Rick seems to have been killed by the (completely understandably angry!) Undead citizens, but no, it wasn’t him. Naturally.
The looting proves insufficient in the end, however, as Jadis points out that the entire reason Rick wants their help is the Scavengers’ sheer number of people, who, you know, would each need their own gun.
And presumably bullets. When fighting Negan.
Really makes you wonder. How could the Zombies, err, Walkers, possibly run this worse?
Oh well.
