Negan is back in Alexandria for another confrontation with Rick, Rosita has obtained a Single Bullet to take him on, and a powder keg is ready to blow in this week’s Walking Dead. Also, there are some Zombies around. Toward the edges.

Things are chugging merrily along toward the midseason finale in Walking Dead land, and this week’s episode features a buddy comedy of sorts, between Negan, smiling despot and brutal murderer, and Carl, our ever-less-pint-sized would be assassin. This week TWD takes us back to two characters who disappeared midway through last season after the raid on the satellite outpost, reminding viewers that all the grief, pain, and prolonged cliffhangers have taken place over two weeks in the narrative. Yiiiiiiikes.

This week TWD finally checks in on Maggie and Sasha, last seen in the aftermath of Negan’s bloody act of terror against the Rick gang. More below.

If only they were Zombie Tolerant too… alas. They most certainly are not. More below.

The Walking Dead continues this fall, for better or worse (and from a Zombie Rights perspective, pretty distinctively worse). But one could be forgiven for wondering if the show is giving up on making its audience scared of the Undead in favor of a bat-wielding psychopath, at least judging from this first episode. More after [...]

And so another Fear the Walking Dead demi-season draws to a close! The first half season memorably ended with the characters reaching the ocean, but not salvation. The second opened with LA in flames and closed with a cult in flames. All very dramatic. Which is why it’s strange that this half season ends with [...]

A double episode this week! Apparently. Which is weird, really. Why… did someone not look at the calendar until recently and failed to realize the premiere of regular Walking Dead is coming up? At any rate, the first half, ‘Wrath’, has made a lot of headlines, and for once, it lives up to its name [...]
