Cabine of the Dead

We haven’t seen this film yet, but we shall at the Horror Society Film Festival on October 23rd. I don’t read French, so I’m not sure what is supposed to be going on, but this seems to be a movie about a jerk who hogs a phone booth and won’t let Zombies use it.

I mean, really. Phone booths are few and far between these days. If you don’t have a call to make, please exit the booth and let the next customer at it. Just because you have a pulse, that doesn’t make you important or give you special phone privileges. Exercise some common courtesy, man!

Take a look for yourselves behind the cut:

That’s true this man is not very friendly with the zombies, but it will pay sooner or later…

    See you

We at the ZRC must caution our readers that inflammatory language could prompt unfortunate responses from the mainstream Living community. As we all know, they are prone to great paranoia to begin with regarding the Differently Animated. The Zombie Rights Campaign is not looking for revenge, or even retributive justice; we favor a reconciliation approach, perhaps a Truth Commission, something along those lines.

That being said, yes, the man in the film is a jerk and deserves some firm talking to, plus a helping of scorn, for his Living Supremacist behavior.

    Haha!
I think that the reconciliation between Undead and Living community is a sweet Pacifist dream, which cannot be real. Because their public interests are at stake: zombies need fresh flesh to “survive” and the Livings want to save their skin. This conflict can never be resolved.

Furthermore, zombies were created by the Human beings (rather, BECAUSE OF the Human beings) and why do they return to the life? To take revenge…
The invasion of zombies is a metaphor of the Judgment Day, when everyone is alone in front of Death. Do you have anything to blame you? Etc….
I am not a Christian but that’s not the point. The American movies are generally filled with biblical references (as well as all the movies inspired by the American culture).

Fiinally, what I mean is the ZRC can be useful, but will always stay a minority movement…
But I support your cause, and will talk about it in France !
